Anne-Claire LepageAssociate Professor

Repères biographiquesShort Biography

I was born in Nancy, France, in 1977. I received the M.S. degree in fundamental physics from Henri Poincaré University (now called Université de Lorraine), Nancy, France, in 1999 and the “Agrégation de Physique” in 2000. Then, I decided to specialize in telecommunications and I obtained the M.S. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree from Telecom Paris, Paris, in 2005 for my work on compact ultra wideband antennas.

After teaching two years at IUT de Poitiers in the Networks and Telecommunications department, I joined Telecom Paris in 2007 as Associate Professor.
I am a member of the RFM² research team (Radiofrequencies, Microwaves and Millimeter Waves) of LTCI lab.

My current research interests include the design and measurement of antennas and electromagnetic absorbers. Introducing metamaterials and metasurfaces in these structures enables to improve significantly the frequency bands, the thickness and versatility and opens new perspectives in various fields.

I teach at Telecom Paris in various modules of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year. I am also responsible for the “Telecommunications: from data to systems” study track and of the “Networks, Telecommunications and IoT” study track for apprentices.
I also teach at Telecom Evolution (continuing education) and at the Villebon-Charpak Institute, of which Telecom Paris is one of the academic partners.
